Welcome to Vagaro!
By now, you probably know that we have transitioned our scheduling software to Vagaro. Whether you schedule your own appointments online or here in the office, this new software has several features to make your life easier. If you haven’t downloaded the Vagaro app and tried managing your appointments that way yet, we encourage you to give it a try!
What if I can’t find the appointment time I want?
One of our favorite features of Vagaro is their bult-in “Waitlist” (aka Cancellation List). If you can’t find an appointment on the date or at the time you want, we can add you to the provider’s Waitlist – or you can do it yourself from the comfort of your own home! You can also keep track of the status of the appointments and remove yourself from the Waitlist at any time. Follow these easy steps:
Join the Waitlist for a Service:
- Select Ames Spine & Sport in the app and tap on the Book - Service buttons.
- Select the service, provider, and date(s) you are looking for, and then tap the Search button. If there are available appointments that match your parameters, you can go ahead and book one.
- If you don’t see an appointment that you like, you can scroll down and tap the Add to Waitlist button. Select your desired provider(s) and dates/time of day (Note: You can add up to five dates at a time.), then confirm with the Add to Waitlist button.
View and Book a Waitlisted Appointment
If you're wondering if you're still on the Waitlist, you can check your status on the Appointments screen and book it if the appointment is available.
Cancel a Waitlisted Appointment
If you no longer want to wait for an appointment to become available, you should cancel your spot on the waitlist so you aren't automatically contacted when one is.
What happens with an appointment becomes available?
When an appointment that meets your search criteria becomes available, you'll receive an email, text message, or in-app notification, depending on your notification settings. This message will let you know that an appointment has become available and that you can book it right now – you can do that yourself through the Vagaro website or app, or you can call the office to schedule with us. It’s that simple!
