Dr. Jessi Janorschke

Dr. Jessi Janorschke was born and raised in Gilbert, Iowa.  She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  She also is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, holds a Diplomate in Chiropractic Acupuncture (the highest level of education a Chiropractor can obtain), a Master's in Sport Performance and a Bachelor's of Science in Strength & Conditioning..

Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, she served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic and served a tour to Afghanistan in 2009-2010.  As a Combat Medic serving the front lines, she knew keeping up with her male counterparts was crucial and fell into CrossFit for her form of fitness and also mental health.  After an injury while in Afghanistan that ultimately ended her military career, she felt plagued with overwhelming frustrations of pain and injuries stacking on top of each other.  This spawned her decision to study fitness, sport performance and seek a deeper understanding of the human body, how it functions, and how to fix biomechanics discrepancies.  She has competed in both CrossFit competitions and also was a nationally-qualified figure competitor (bodybuilding).

Dr. Jessi prides herself on striving to understand not only what is happening with her patients, but why it is happening so we can fix it from the cause instead of treating symptoms.  As a Sport Chiropractor, Dr. Jessi treats her patients with traditional chiropractic adjustments of the spine and extremities in addition to various soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation exercise programs.

We emphasize improving your total health to reduce the risk of pain or illness. Dr. Jessi Janorschke, will personally individualize a program for your needs using the least invasive and the most effective techniques and treatments.  We believe in utilizing equal parts: patient values, evidence-based literature and clinician expertise and experience in developing your individual program.

She is married to her husband Alex, who is a Petroleum Engineer and together they have 2 kids--Clayton and Kaci.  In their free time they enjoy staying active as a family whether it's going on a walk, riding bikes, family workouts, or playing with their dog, Daisy May.
