23 Hard Things in 2023

Nailing your 2023 Goals with this new outlook.


I’m writing this to invite you to join me on a new outlook on goal setting for the New Year.  We all have these goals and things we want to achieve, but it’s pretty easy to get off track and lose motivation.  That is why this year I’m implementing something new… 23 Hard Things in 2023.


This is my mini-bucket/goal list for 2023.  Some things may take me all year to complete.  Some may get accomplished early on, but it’s giving me all year to accomplish some pretty cool things I want to do.  And so, I invite you to join me. 


Not sure what to put on your list?

Here’s a few of mine in no particular order if you need some ideas:

  • Complete the 1,000 Hours Outside Challenge with my kids
  • Finish my ICSC (International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic)
  • Get halfway through my DABCSP (Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians) program
  • Enjoy 2 vacations/trips with my family without tending to work
  • Read one book a month. Like an actual book, not strength and conditioning or nerdy journals.
  • Complete the Spartan Trifecta
  • Do 52 yoga classes


Some of these are truly hard (for me) physically, some are challenging because it’s a new habit to build, and some are challenging in other ways either due to time constraints, family responsibilities, or driving to push myself further in my career.  Some are bucket list items and some are just building habits. 


I challenge you to build your list.  Let us all encourage and support each other to NEW things and accomplishments in 2023!  May this year be the BEST yet!
