Energy Bites Recipe

Quick energy bites have become a favorite of myself and my kiddos this winter and are a staple for every wrestling tournament of my boy. 


Check out my recipe and try it for yourself! 


Ingredients:

  • 1c old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2c homemade peanut butter (just grind peanuts in the blender and in minutes you’ll have a nice creamy peanut butter with no additives)
  • 1/3c protein powder
  • 1/3c local honey
  • 1/2c mini chocolate chips (or mini m&m’s, white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips)
  • 1tsp vanilla extract


Directions

  1. Stir all ingredients together in a mixing bowl until thoroughly combined.
  2. Cover and chill. Set in fridge for about an hour.
  3. Roll into 1inch balls.
  4. Enjoy!


Store in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze what you don’t use! Enjoy!
